Road shutdown planned in Alpharetta

Alpharetta city officials are warning of a significant road closure this weekend.

Beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, Fulton County contractors will shut down the section of Academy Street between Main Street/Ga.9 and Haynes Bridge Road. The closure’s through Saturday evening for paving work. All left turns from Haynes Bridge to Academy will also be banned.
