Crime Stoppers has issued another plea for help finding the hit-and-run driver who killed a man crossing a southwest Atlanta street last month.

Milton “Eggie” Boykin, 40, was walking near the intersection of Campbellton and Fairburn roads at about 11:20 p.m. on April 27 when he was struck by an SUV. The vehicle left the scene, and Boykin later died at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Boykin's family has been canvassing the intersection where he died for weeks, begging for anyone who knows what happened to come forward, but no arrests have been made.

Crime Stoppers joined the effort Tuesday by offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment of the person responsible.

“The (suspect) vehicle is possibly a white in color Chevy Equinox mid 2000’s with damage to the driver’s side,” a Crime Stoppers alert said. “Vehicle is missing the driver’s side mirror, damaged headlight, part of the front bumper and the insert from the grill.”

Anyone with information on the case can submit tips anonymously by calling 404-577-TIPS, visiting crimestoppersatlanta.org or by texting CSA and the information to 274637.
