Organizers of the Society of Humane Friends of Lawrenceville and the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s jail dog program need your help to find out who shot a pit bull in the neck.

The dog, whose name is Angel, was found in Lawrenceville suffering from a gunshot wound, according to Virginia Keller, of the Society of Humane Friends.

The reward money is being offered for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or people responsible for wounding the dog, Keller said today in an email.

Anyone with information should call Gwinnett Animal Control at 770-339-3200.
