Funeral arrangements have been made for actor John Witherspoon, who died last week at age 77.

Several media outlets are reporting that the late comedian, best known for his role in the “Friday” movie franchise, will be buried Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles.

A celebration of Witherspoon's life is planned for noon but is not expected to be open to the public.

A digital flyer circulating on Twitter reads: “Join us to celebrate the life of the incomparable John Witherspoon. Come ready to share memories, sing, dance, and laugh the only way John could make us do.”

Other notable celebrities interred at Forest Lawn include Tom Bosley, David Carradine, Carrie Fisher, Andy Gibb, Liberace, Penny Marshall, Brittany Murphy, Bill Paxton, Freddie Prinze, Lou Rawls, John Ritter, Isabel Sanford, Telly Savalas, Rod Steiger and Paul Walker.
