Most seniors would rather remain in their own homes or move into the homes of their adult children than move into an assisted living facility. Follow these tips to make your home safe for any elderly relatives that will be residing in your home.

An often overlooked concept of aging-in-place is making sure rooms are spacious enough for seniors to navigate with a walker or wheelchair. This may require the simple moving of furniture or may require more extensive renovations.
