A second 15-year-old boy claims he was molested by his private school principal, Cobb County police said Friday.
Jack Duane Hibbs, 57, of Marietta, has been in the Cobb County jail since Wednesday when he was arrested at police headquarters.
Hibbs was initially charged with four counts of aggravated child molestation, according to Sgt. Dana Pierce with Cobb police.
At the time of the alleged molestation, Hibbs was the principal of Faith Lutheran School on Lower Roswell Road in east Cobb, Pierce said.
On Wednesday night, Hibbs was listed on the school’s website as the principal. But he was not listed on the site Friday. The school educates students through eighth grade.
Since Hibbs’ arrest, a second victim has come forward with similar allegations, Pierce said Friday.
Hibbs has now been charged with an additional count of child molestation and two counts of enticing a child for indecent purposes, according to police.
Investigators believe the second victim was molested at the school, Pierce said.
School officials did not respond to an emailed request from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for comment on the arrest.
