A Cobb County grand jury on Thursday has indicted a 69-year-old Powder Springs man on sexual battery charges for allegedly touching three young girls on the buttocks at a water park.

Jerry Dean Westbrook could spend up to 15 years in jail if he’s convicted on the three counts, according to Cobb County police spokeswoman Kim Isaza.

Westbrook allegedly touched the girls, ages 8 to 10, on Sept. 2, 2012, in a pool at Six Flags Whitewater — a park he had a season pass to, according to a previous Atlanta Journal-Constitution article.

The AJC previously reported that Westbrook was known to visit the park alone and investigators believe he may have had other victims.

Marietta police arrested Westbrook on Oct. 25, 2012, after witness reports led to an investigation into his identity. He was released on $7,500 bond the following morning and remained free on bond as of Wednesday morning.

A date has not yet been set for Westbrook’s arraignment, according to Isaza.
