Police: Two injured in Brookhaven shooting

Two men were hurt early Saturday in a shooting on Buford Highway in the city of Brookhaven, but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

The two men were in a vehicle at a traffic light on Buford Highway near Clairmont Road when the incident occurred about 4:15 a.m., Brookhaven Police Lt. Brandon Gurley said. The victims pulled the vehicle into a parking lot near N. Cliff Valley Way and sought help.

The men were taken to an undisclosed hospital. Detectives are trying to determine a motive and identify possible suspects, police said.
