Investigators have identified a person of interest in the shooting of a grandmother who was injured as she did a puzzle in her room. But police aren’t sure where to find the 21-year-old.

Khyree Q. Houston is wanted for questioning for the May 15 shooting on Clifton Road that injured 63-year-old Annie Weems, Officer Kim Jones with Atlanta police said.

Weems was in her room around 4:45 a.m. May 15 when shots were fired into her family's home. A bullet struck Weems in the face, but she is expected to survive her injuries, her daughter previously told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

The day before Weems was shot, a family member told police that Houston had allegedly been threatening her, according to the incident report obtained by The AJC.

Houston is 6-foot-4 and weighs 160 pounds, according to police. Anyone with information regarding Houston’s whereabouts is asked to contact police at 404-546-2652.
