A 54-year-old Lilburn man was shot to death Wednesday night in northwest Atlanta, police said.

The victim has been identified as Dan Wang, according to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Atlanta police officers were called to the scene in the 1400 block of Lavender Drive just before 9 p.m.

Wang had been shot multiple times and died at the scene, said Capt. Paul Guerrucci, commander of the Atlanta police homicide unit.

Someone heard the shots and found the victim in the driveway, he said.

The investigation is continuing.
