DeKalb County police are investigating an early morning fatal shooting.
About 1:30 a.m. Thursday, police found a man shot in the head in the entry to the Hairston Shopping Center at 2532 South Hairston Road, DeKalb police spokesman Capt. Stephen Fore said.
The man was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died, Fore said.
“Detectives are working to locate witnesses that may have observed anything,” he said.
The man didn’t have any identification on him at the time, Fore said, and the motive is unknown.
