The Heights Armour

The Heights Armour is an apartment community located in Midtown Atlanta.

"There's a high energy level here, and the neighbors are fun and responsible at the same time. Fun in that there really are no strangers here and responsible in that everyone is respectful of their neighbors and pitches in to help take care of the community," said Welker. He'd moved to Dunwoody thinking to get away from Midtown streets and traffic, but he had to get back to the energy and friendliness of Midtown, with its variety of uses and great mix of neighbors.

Welker's lease was up earlier this year and all he did was change apartments. "I've really grown to like the team here. Everyone's friendly and always willing to help," he said. "I might have been at work fulltime and then at school fulltime, but when I walk in the lobby here, my energy level shoots straight up."

Driving through the area, Welker had seen The Heights Armour from the interstate and his roommate went to check it out. "David told me, 'We've got to live here,' and he was right. We moved right in," said Welker. Welker is in nursing school in Dunwoody and works in health care finances in Dunwoody as well, so access to the interstate was critical.

The community has all the amenities anyone needs, Welker said, without anything that's not necessary. "The weight room is well-equipped, the lounge and pool area are phenomenal. I can walk to Ansley Mall if I want to or to the neighborhood restaurants and bars. David and I are both joggers, and there's not much traffic back here so it's an ideal place to run," Welker said.

Just over a year ago, Jacob Welker and his roommate David Gascko, were looking to move back into Midtown from their apartment in Dunwoody. They wanted something new, something convenient to I-75/85 and something at a great price. They found everything they wanted at The Heights Armour.

Residents can choose from a one-bedroom (725-1,082 square feet), two-bedroom (1,165-1,301 square feet) or a two-bedroom loft (1,381 square feet) floor plan. Welker and his roommate have turned the loft area into a study with a pull-out sofa for guests. The apartment came with a washer and dryer and there's a very private balcony. (Model unit)
