BEST FIND: "I buy Ozwald Boateng suits on eBay UK. These are $2,500 suits that I get for $250, and I've got, like, seven of them. I've been very lucky." Ozwald Boateng is a British designer based in London.

FAVORITE LABELS: "Ozwald Boateng, Ted Baker and Ralph Lauren." Carson's three-button purple mohair suit by Ozwald Boateng, fuchsia shirt with purple crosses by Kuhlman Co. and brown leather loafers by To Boot New York.

ATLANTA STYLE IS ... "changing. Fashion itself... is adapting and going through a metamorphosis."

BIGGEST SPLURGE: "My Louis Vuitton bag. It's like a briefcase, and it holds all my documents and my wallet. The great thing about Louis Vuitton is that it's classic and never goes out of style. I bought it three years ago at Louis Vuitton here in Atlanta."

A FASHION PET PEEVE: "Unshined shoes on a man, definitely. Just take care of your shoes."

A WEAKNESS: "A great pair of cufflinks. You can only wear a blue suit so many different ways. It's the way you accessorize that brings it out."

CARSON COLLECTS straw hats by Makins Hats.

STANDOUT FASHION MOMENT: "When I met President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton. I was wearing a suit by Ozwald Boateng -- a three-button suit in gray mohair with lime green pinstripes, a green Kuhlman Co. shirt and an emerald green tie." Green tie by Hermes.

FAVORITE STORES: "Kuhlman Co. [now closed], Filene's Basement and Saks Off Fifth."
