MIMI TIN, 37, is a graphic designer in Atlanta and owner/creator of Sushi Style Inc., a new line of high-end ottomans that resemble pieces of sushi.

SIGNATURE STYLE: "Classy and fun fused with rock star glam." Silver strappy sandals from Nine West.

WHAT SHE'S WEARING: Nicole Miller ruched dress from Bloomingdale's, Nine West sandals, black crystal drop earrings.

FAVORITE LABELS: Juicy Couture for everything, BCBG, Prada. Furry evening jacket from Festivity, black beaded top (under jacket) from Bloomingdales, and tulle skirt from H&M.

BIGGEST SPLURGE: "My over-the-knee Chanel boots purchased about a year and a half ago. The only white leather size 7 at Neiman Marcus in Atlanta had been purchased, so I called around to every store in the country and finally had a pair shipped from Dallas. With shipping included, they were a little over $2,000. They feel like butter."

FAVORITE STORES: Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, Bill Hallman

FASHION PET PEEVE: "I don't like embroidery on plaid." The crystal and beaded bracelet was bought in Sydney, and the ring is from Macy's.

A WEAKNESS: "Platform wedges. I can't get enough of them. I have about 20 pairs. I'm 5-foot-3, and in platform wedges I feel comfortable. I don't really like stilettos, but I could run in platforms." These shoes are displayed on an ottoman of Tin's design.

STANDOUT FASHION MOMENT: "The UNICEF Ball at the InterContinental. I wore a long white silk Roberto Cavalli gown with golden sandals adorned with leaves and flower petals ... "

"... I finished the look with an amber-encrusted bracelet and yellow butterflies in my hair. It was the first time I was referred to as a 'fashionista.' "

Completing the outfit is a gold purse and the leaf and flower petal heels from Nordstrom.

Tin bought many of her handmade necklaces overseas.

BIGGEST FIND: "I was digging through the sale tables at Neiman Marcus and found the perfect pair of chocolate leather Prada wedges at half-price, about $275. They're comfortable, luxurious and timeless."

Tin's green and white babydoll top is from Urban Outfitters and her white shorts are from Macy's. Wooden beaded bracelets are from St. Martin.

ATLANTA STYLE IS ... "Diverse. Walking around Atlanta you see everything from pretty to grunge and casual chic to couture."
