Bo Obama, the First Dog, plays in the snow on the White House grounds Sunday, Dec. 20.

Bo, the Obama family dog, plays in the snow on the grounds of the White House Sunday, Dec. 20.

Bo is a Portuguese water dog and was a gift from Senator and Mrs. Ted Kennedy to Sasha and Malia Obama.

Bo moved into the White House on April 14, 2009.

Bo's favorite foods are tomatoes and toys, and he does not yet know how to swim, according to his baseball card.

Bo was born October 9, 2008 in Texas.
