Herman Cain suspends presidential campaign.

Herman Cain and wife Gloria exit his campaign bus Saturday morning at the site of his campaign headquarters in DeKalb County.

Cain would ultimately speak to the waiting crowd and reveal that he had decided to suspend his presidential campaign.

The Republican hopeful said he came to the decision after a 'lot of prayer and soul-searching.'

Cain said the onslaught of accusations of sexual harassment and marital infidelity has caused too much of a strain on his marriage ....

.... and that after discussing it with his wife, Gloria, they agreed it was time to focus on their family.

He said he's on to "Plan B," which revolves around a website where he will continue to push for solutions to the country's problems.

Cain said he "will not be silenced and I'm not going away."

Cain said he was inspired to run because 'politicians in Washington' had failed the country.

A Cain supporter shows his disappointment after the announcement.

About an hour after the announcement, workers begin breaking down the stage in front of the facility.

Volunteer Dianne DeVore of Roswell was shocked by the announcement Saturday. 'I'm very sad and disappointed," she said.

Devore added, 'he was the best candidate.'

After the announcement, a man takes a photo of the campaign bus - after many in the crowd had left the parking lot.
