Tara Grinstead was last seen Oct. 22, 2005, at a cookout near her Ocilla home. Grinstead, a former beauty queen and high school teacher, was 30. Police said Grinstead's cellphone and car were at her home, but her purse and car keys were missing. Tip line: 478-987-4545.

In December 1989, Alan Lee Morse bid his family farewell to return back to duty in the Navy. George Morse discovered his son's plane ticket went unused and that Alan had told a family friend he was unhappy and thinking of going AWOL. Circa 2006, the Navy said they would not press charges of AWOL against his son. Morse found that a friend said he took Alan to a bus station, his last sighting. George Morse hopes his son is alive and hiding, still believing he is a fugitive. - Bill Torpy, AJC

Athena Curry was said to have walked out of her boyfriend's Southside home in late May 2011 and vanished into the night, leaving behind her baby. Police interviewed Curry's boyfriend and he told them and family members that she left his house early one morning after a fight. Curry's sister, Aisha Magee, said her sister had no car and no clothes. - Bill Torpy, AJC

Stephen Lankester Cox of Acworth disappeared on November 18, 2004 after he received a call from an unknown person. He left his mother's residence with unidentified persons and wasn't seen again. Cox was 38 at the time of his disappearance. Investigation revealed that Cox may have been planning a robbery of a gaming establishment in Cobb County. - GBI

Elizabeth W. Calvert and her husband John Calvert, of Brookhaven, were last seen March 3, 2008, in Hilton Head, S.C., where they were visiting their summer home. Police found the couple's Mercedes a week later outside a Hilton Head resort. Police searched the Atlantic Ocean and a south Georgia landfill after receiving a tip, but found no evidence of the couple. Their case remains open as a missing persons incident, though a judge declared them dead on Oct. 22, 2009. Tip line: 843-524-2777.

Mary Shotwell Little was last seen October 1965 in a Lenox Square parking lot. The secretary had just gotten married. Investigators found her car smeared with her blood. In 1994, police received a tip she was buried under a floor in Forsyth County. But the search turned up negative, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said.

Sherri Vanessa Holland, of Buckhead, was last seen Aug 16, 1996, in Flagler Beach, Fla., while she was preparing to return home to Atlanta. Police found her BMW with a flat tire ditched along I-75 in Morrow several days later. Holland was 34 and worked in the adult entertainment industry. Tip line: 770-960-3003.

Helen Ann Morgan was last seen May 13, 1984, at her Lamar County home. Police found her car three days later at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Morgan's family told police she received a call and said she had to go to her office at the National Cash Register Co. in Fayetteville. She never returned. She was 27. Tip line: 770-358-5159.

Bridget Clodfelter was last seen Sept. 5, 1992, leaving her Smyrna home. Friends said she planned to walk to Smyrna country dance bar Buckboard, which was about a mile away. She never arrived at the club. Clodfelter was 27. Tip line: 678-631-5146.

Verdell Moore was last seen in 2003 in Emanuel County. A $1,000 reward has been offered. Tips: Emanuel County Sheriff's Office at 478-237-7526.

Deborah Jean McKneely was last seen Jan 29, 1991, at her Rockdale home. She was 39 and scheduled to sign her divorce papers that day. Police found her SUV outside a public housing community in Decatur the day after she disappeared. Tip line: 770-918-6700.

Aida Ruth Calfee was last seen walking along a Dahlonega highway on Oct. 2, 1981. She was 25 and got in a fight with her boyfriend, Jim Pruitt. She left the car and told him she would hitchhike home. Police said the boyfriend was trying to convince Calfee to drop battery charges she had filed against him. He was later convicted of battery. Tip line: 706-864-9278.
