Atlanta students test "Rock Band" video game

The new Rock Band video game tour shirt shows that they have been taking the tour bus around the nation.

Emory students (from left) Rebecca Flink, Allison Lindenberg, Ed Morgan and Rueben Medina try out the new Rock Band video game, which is made for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 consoles. It has been demonstrated at video game and electronics stores this month and makes appearances this week in the Atlanta area.

Emory students Rebecca Flink (left) and Allison Lindenberg entertain the crowds. Promoters for the video game will be at Emory University from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday to give potential customers a chance to test out the highly-awaited game and possibly win a chance to be on MTV.

Emory student Nick Haase has fun trying out the new Rock Band video game on campus in Atlanta on Thursday. The release of Rock Band is scheduled for Nov. 20.

Rock Band comes with two guitars, one for lead and the other for bass, a microphone for vocals and a four-piece drum set.

Monitors show a graphic that comes with the game. In the game, players try to follow the music of various rock songs on a guitar-shaped controller, a drum set or on the microphone.
