Antifreeze killer Lynn Turner dies in prison

Lynn Turner, convicted of poisoning and killing her husband and boyfriend with antifreeze, has died, a state Department of Corrections official confirmed.

Lynn Turner, convicted of killing her husband and her boyfriend with antifreeze, died Monday in prison. She was 42. The cause of death was unknown. This January 2007 photo showed the first day of jury selection in her Forsyth County murder trial in the killing of Randy Thompson -- the second murder trial. In 2004, she was convicted of killing her Cobb County policeman husband, Maurice Glenn Turner.

In this April 2007 photo, special prosecutor Jack Mallard talked to Randy Thompson's parents, Nita Thompson, Perry Thompson, and sister Brandie McNeil, after the jury in the sentencing phase of Lynn Turner asked for more time to deliberate.

The family of Randy Thompson listened as the jury is polled after Lynn Turner was sentenced to life in prison without parole in March 2007 in the antifreeze posioning of Randy Thompson.

In July 2003, Perry Thompson, father of Forsyth County firefighter Randy Thompson, attended the first major hearing in the case against Lynn Turner in Cobb Superior Court.

Dunkerton and Turner had been partners on motorcycle patrol in Cobb County.
