May 25, 2017 Fulton County: Fulton County police processed the crime scene Thursday morning, May 25, 2017 after a shooting at a south Fulton County strip club early Thursday sent two people to the hospital. May 24, 2017 Atlanta: 300 MARTA employees working at the Brady MARTA Facility located at 1040 Brady Avenue NW in Atlanta had to evacuate the building Wednesday, May 24, 2017 after a gas leak was discovered in the facility. Atlanta firefighters arrived on the scene around 11 a.m. and sent crews into the building where after investigating shut off all gas to the structure. Atlanta Fire Rescue battalion chief, Darrel Mason said there were no reports of injuries and that firefighters had begun to fee-vent the building. Fire crews turned over the scene to Atlanta Gas Light to determine the origin of the leak. The employees returned to work one hour and a half later according to MARTA spokesperson Erik Burton. The building is a newer structure and accommodates the operations, and maintenance needsÊfor MARTAÕs fleet of Mobility vehicles

Connie Johnson-81 has lived and raised her family at the home on Overbrook Drive NW in Atlanta for 48-years. Connie Johnson spent Monday waiting for her insurance company and the City of Atlanta to come an inspect the property so she could determine whether or not she can rebuild. Johnson who lives alone with her cat, says she was in the front yard Saturday evening when sudden wind gusts and rain came through the area bringing down the tree. May 19, 2017 Atlanta: Atlanta firefighters battled a stubborn car carrier fire that shut down the I-20 East ramp to I-285 North in Fulton County for nearly three hours early Friday May 19, 2017. The fire started aboutÂ 4:40 a.m. and was extinguished before 6 a.m.,Â according to theÂ WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.Â The ramp reopened about 7:20 a.m. after large wreckers used cranes to elevate the trailer of cars and then placed it on a large flatbed semi to be transported from the scene. The delays impacted the commute for drivers in Fulton, Cobb and Douglas counties the Traffic Center reported. There were no reports of injuries. SPINK/JSPINK@AJC.COM
