Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Karen Minton said a flash flood watch goes into effect Wednesday morning through Friday morning for Fulton and Forsyth counties. “We’re currently experiencing a monsoon,” she said of the convergence of moist tropical weather systems creating this weekend’s rain. A large mass of low pressure hovering over the lower Mississippi Valley is to blame for the wet forecast, according to the National Weather Service.
