Most of North Georgia and metro Atlanta remained under a dense fog advisory that lasted until noon Monday. In Midtown, only the tops of skyscrapers were visible under a layer of clouds. There were areas of visibility below a quarter-mile on the drive into work and school, according to Channel 2 Action News. With high humidity, the low clouds and haze hung around for several hours. Rain is 40% likely Tuesday and Wednesday, but some storms are possible for the middle of the week, according to Channel 2. Halloween is looking âpretty wet and pretty stormyâ with an 80% chance of rain, Channel 2 meteorologist Brian Monahan said. âRight now it looks like pretty wet weather on Halloween and much cooler Friday, Saturday and Sunday,â he said.
