One person was killed and a suspect arrested after a shooting Tuesday afternoon at an apartment complex near Stone Mountain, according to DeKalb County police.
A man, whose name was not released, was shot inside an apartment in the Park at Hairston, off South Hairston Road, Capt. Stephen Fore said.
Officers were flagged down by a female, but it was not known whether she was involved in the crime, Fore said. The suspect, whose name was not released, was arrested after leading officers on a foot chase, police said.
No information was released on a possible motive.
