Atlanta police have charged three people, including a 16-year-old, with murder in connection to a shooting last month in southwest Atlanta.

On the night of Sept. 23, officers were dispatched in response to a person shot call, and when they arrived, they found the body of 29-year-old Antonio Clements, of Atlanta, inside a silver Kia along the curb at Campbellton and Stanton roads. Clements had been shot at least one time. His passenger was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital with a graze wound, the police report stated.

Police officials Tuesday night announced that homicide investigators found probable cause to charge a 16-year-old with murder. He was taken to the Fulton County Jail on Oct. 6.

Investigators also brought in 25-year-old Frederick Rosenau and 20-year-old Darious Harris on murder charges at a later date, police said.

All three remain in the Fulton County Jail.

Atlanta police spokesman John Chafee said the decision on whether to charge the 16-year-old as an adult will be made by the district attorney’s office.
