Police in Athens arrested two men Wednesday night in connection with this week's shooting death of University of Georgia student Min Seok Cho.

Cho, a 21-year-old graduate of Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, died Tuesday after being brought by private vehicle to Athens Regional Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound.

Athens-Clarke County police spokeswoman Hilda Sorrow said Cormaine Goss, 21, and Andre Ruff, 18, were arrested and charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Sorrow said investigators determined that Cho was shot in the area of Baxter Drive in Athens, and that he apparently met Ruff and Goss “to exchange marijuana.”
