Media just a shill for Democrats

The Democrat Party is no longer the party of John F. Kennedy or Bill Clinton. Their actions show they don’t believe in the American people or the system that made this country the richest, most-powerful nation in history, which was undeniably capitalism.

We now have a news media applauding income redistribution and that supports President Obama’s policies that have divided the nation by race worse than any time in history. The news media is biased to the extreme and, to some, are considered anti-American in the way they use omission and obfuscation as a tool to sway public opinion.

We don’t need a news media that uses the power of the press to push any one ideology at the expense of all others.

Trump supporters only hear what they want

I had the misfortune to hear some of Rush Limbaugh’s show today, and while I disagree with most every thing he says, I wanted to hear what one of his callers had to say about current events. This particular caller was comparing speakers at the recent nominating conventions. In particular they compared the statements of Patricia Smith, the mother of the slain soldier in Benghazi, to the speech given by Khizr Khan, whose son was killed in Iraq. The caller accused the Khans of blaming Donald Trump for their son’s death. What stuns me is the filter that some people seem to have that prevents them from understanding what is being spoken. Khan never accused Trump of being responsible for his son’s death, but apparently that did not agree with what Limbaugh’s caller wanted to hear. I can only imagine that is why Trump has any supporters in the first place. Some people are simply unable to understand what they are hearing.
