Each month the OneHarvest food box program accepts orders with the September order period beginning Aug. 18 and closing at noon Sept. 9, including three Cobb locations.

Orders may be placed online at OneHarvest.com with a credit or debit card.

OneHarvest phone numbers are 770-466-0000 or toll-free at 877-818-1778 and email is help@OneHarvest.com.

So far, three churches in Cobb County serve as distribution points where orders may be picked up monthly:

  • Marietta Vineyard Church, 2060 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, DustyWells62@yahoo.com, 678-373-8404
  • Powder Springs First United Methodist Church, 4329 Marietta St., pastor@PowderSpringsFUMC.org, 770-943-5130
  • Zion Baptist Church, 165 Lemon St., Marietta, oratorone@att.net, 678-357-7677

"OneHarvest is a nondenominational, faith-based organization that is committed to helping American families," according to the website at OneHarvest.com.

"We offer affordable, pre-paid, pre-packaged, high quality food boxes. Our quality standard is based on a simple question: If Christ were sitting at our table, would we be proud to serve Him our food?"

Regardless of income level with no applications to submit, anyone may order as many food boxes as they want with costs ranging from $20 to $46 per box.

Founded in June 2010 with the ministry based in Loganville, Gwinnett County, OneHarvest has expanded through the southeast, east coast and midwest.

Billy Lawhon and Scott Crowe serve on the board of directors, also according to the OneHarvest website.

A retired U.S. Army veteran, Lawhon is an elder and board member of Royal Diadem Tabernacle.

Crowe is the Youth Life pastor at Buford Church of God.
