On the first day that it actually feels like fall in Atlanta, a chic gourmet ice cream shop wants to bring you back to summer  − with free ice cream, no less.

Krog Street Market will offer free ice cream at Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, 99 Krog St NE, Atlanta, as a part of its  KSM Appreciation Day between 5 and 7 tonight. Every customer will receive one free scoop of Jeni's.

The free ice cream bonanza celebrates Krog Street Market’s third birthday and Jeni’s third birthday at the market, according to the market’s Instagram announcement Tuesday morning.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, an Ohio-based creamery, opened in Krog Street in mid-October 2014, representing one of the earliest stalls to open at the market. The ice cream shop offers a variety of ice cream flavors − from Brown Butter Almond Brittle to Mocha Black Cherry.

Krog Street, which features a lively food hall and a handful of retail shops, officially opened in November 2014. The now go-to Inman Park destination originally served as an Atlanta warehouse in the 1920s. The hotspot is one of the many highlights of the Atlanta Beltline.

Insider's tip: Jeni's is now open, so get a headstart in the free ice cream line if you can. (It's bound to be pretty long.)
