He claimed he was at a Henry County office to clean the carpets.
But while he was inside, he allegedly cleaned out the employees’ wallets, according to Henry County police.
Investigators aren’t sure if the latest office “creeper” case is related to others in the metro area. But they’re hoping surveillance images will help identify the suspect, according to Sgt. Joey Smith.
Around 2 p.m. Friday, the heavyset man entered the Henry County Transit office and said he had been contracted to clean the carpets, Smith said. The suspect was wearing blue jeans and a multi-colored, blue and beige shirt at the time, pictures show.
“While in the building, the suspect did take the wallets of the employees,” police stated through a press release.
The suspect left in a gold, four-door sedan, according to police.
Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity is asked to contact Detective M. Sharpe at 770-288-8266 or msharpe@co.henry.ga.us.
