TUTON, Gerald "Jerry"
Gerald "Jerry" Tuton, 86, of Sandy Springs, Georgia, passed away November 9, 2021, following a battle with a recurrence of cancer. He died peacefully at his home, with his wife of 45 years, Christine, by his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Louise and Rose Tuton, his son, Jeffrey Tuton, and his brother, Edward Tuton. He is survived by his wife, Christine Tuton, daughters, Julie and Jennifer Tuton, and grandchildren, Sabrina and Nicholas Tuton-Filson. Jerry loved worldwide travel, relaxing at Carillon Beach with his dogs Paco and Bentley, sharing a great bottle of wine or martini with good friends. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity in helping others, and sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel, 173 Allen Rd., NE, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at 2:00 PM at H.M. Patterson and Son, Arlington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dementia Society, Alzheimer's Association or Atlanta Humane Society.
