Mirian Chivers Shropshire, age 96 of Atlanta, GA transitioned on September 30, 2021. The viewing will be held at Carl M. Williams Funeral Directors on Wednesday, October 13th from 3-8 PM. The funeral will be held at Friendship Baptist Church on Thursday the 14th, at 11 AM. Interment following at Westview Cemetery. Dr. Chivers Shropshire is survived by her three children, William B. Shropshire IV, Patricia A. Shropshire, and Richard M. Shropshire, and two grandchildren, William Bruce Shropshire V and Lauren M. Shropshire. Dr. Chivers Shropshire was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William Bruce Shropshire in 2015 shortly after they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary.
