SHAW, Lester M.
Lester M. Shaw, age 75, of Forest Park passed away peacefully in his sleep on the morning of September 22, 2022. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Ralph and Frances Shaw. In addition to his parents, Lester was preceded in death by his wife, Judy A. Shaw.
Lester retired as a truck driver for the Atlanta Journal Constitution. He loved his job and was proud of his 40+ years of service. He also enjoyed listening to music and singing. He had a God-given talent and was an incredible singer. He was also a very loving, generous, and devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He was always making people laugh wherever he went. He was outgoing, hilarious and you immediately felt his humorous presence when he walked into any room. The most important thing to him was his family. The dedication and deep love he had for his wife, daughter, and granddaughter was unmeasurable.
Mr. Shaw is survived by his siblings, Danny Shaw (Elaine), Deby Voyles (Philip), Kathy Teate (Kelly); daughter, Christi Thorpe (Tim); granddaughter, Nicole Thorpe; and many loving family and friends.
