Judith Cape Pike passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Fountainview Center in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born in Atlanta to Sara Helen Cape and Jewel Sylvanus Cape on June 19, 1947. She worked at her father's business Cherokee Plumbing and Heating Company in Atlanta for several years before a career at Ciba Vision as an account representative.
She and her family were longtime residents of Norcross, Georgia where she graduated from Norcross High School, and later attended Oglethorpe College in Atlanta.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Thomas H. Cape, and her husband Gary Paul Pike whom she married on June 2, 1984.
She is survived by her sister, Sylvia Buck Howard of Winder, Georgia, her brother, Timothy Cape and brother-in-law Harold Bouis of Atlanta, her sister-in-law Karen Sluss Cape, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Judy was always pleasant and sociable, and everyone she met was charmed by her. The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the residents of Coventry Place and The Fountainview Center where she resided in her last years and who both cared for her and delighted in her sweet nature.
A memorial will be arranged in Norcross for a time in November to be determined.
