MITCHELL, Sandra

Sandra Mitchell died quietly on Friday, September 17. Sandy was an artist in many respects, using many media, including lathes for wooden works, beautiful mosaics, paintings, and food. Sandy ran marathons and gardened. She lived her life with quiet dignity and wisdom. She had a natural ability to be truly present with others. She is survived by her wife Joyce Oxford, her brother John Mitchell and his family, her cat Bear, and her constant friends Joen Fagan, Deena Flamm, Elizabeth Walsh, and many caring others.
