LOWREY, Mary Orr
Mary Orr Lowrey passed away peacefully on February 14, 2021, age 93. A caring mother and devoted wife, she is survived by her loving husband Hugh Lowrey, children Carolyn Muir, Norman Lowrey, Kenneth Lowrey and Gwen Kahn, eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Her brother, Norman Williams of Palo Alto, CA is deceased. She was born in St. Louis, MO and raised by Richard and Katherine Williams. She attended Principia College, Elsah, IL and worked as a secretary before becoming a stay-at-home mother. She moved with her husband to Georgia in 2005, residing at Presbyterian Village retirement community, Austell. Donations may be made to The First Church of Christ, Scientist, Boston, MA. Due to the corona virus pandemic, the family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
