KINSEL, John Walter
John Walter Kinsel, 72, of Roswell, GA died unexpectedly on Friday, October 1, 2021. John grew up in Columbus, Ohio and was a graduate of Mifflin High School and The Ohio State University. He was a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps and retired after 20 years of service. He then retired from McKesson in Atlanta, GA after 20 plus years. John was an avid OSU Buckeye fan to the core. He will be remembered for his kind soul, spoiling his family, friends, and his beloved dog, Casper. He loved cooking, pleasing people, his garden, "happy hour", playing cards, telling stories and eating White Castle. John is preceded in death by his parents, William and Betty Kinsel; late wife, Elaine (Dominguez). He is survived by his wife, Lisa Cain Kinsel; daughter, Amanda (Adam) Dobson; granddaughter, Evelyn Dobson; brother, William (Joann) Kinsel; sisters, Susan (Ray) Wilson and Kathy Kinsel; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 1, at Northside Chapel Funeral Directors, 12050 Crabapple Road, Roswell, GA 30075. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM. Interment services will follow at the GA National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Drive, in Canton, GA 30115 with full military honors.
