KELLY, Nancy
Nancy Taylor Kelly, born September 17, 1925, died peacefully in her home on September 3, 2021. Nancy was born and raised in Hardinsburg, Kentucky. She attended University of Kentucky where she met George E. Kelly, whom she married in 1948. They had three children, Sue Kelly Dollar; George E. Kelly, III; and Beth Kelly Stevens. They respectively married Luke Dollar, Martha Jane Rodgers and Rick Stevens. They were given eight grandchildren, whom have given them, so far, seven great-grandchildren…all of whom Nancy has unconditionally loved as God has loved her. Nancy attended Peachtree Presbyterian Church since 1963, where she and George raised their children and were extremely involved until recent years. Nancy was incredibly loved by her entire family and everyone she knew. She was an amazing woman who seemed to sense what was needed and provided it. We would like to borrow from Celestine Sibley's self-pinned obituary... "She lived, she died; she had an awfully good time." Nancy had a wonderful life, and she will be so missed.
