JACKSON, Eric
Eric Joseph Jackson, age 58, passed away on October 4, 2021, in Hoschton, Georgia, after a long battle with sickle cell and heart disease. Eric was born on September 10, 1963, in Houston, Texas, and worked as a software consultant for more than 25 years. His work instilled within him a love for travel (and food), and enabled him to spend time in cities across the US and around the world. Some of his favorite destinations include New York City, Sydney, Montreal, Seattle, and Las Vegas. He is survived by his three children, Joseph Bradley Jackson, Joy Kelly Jackson and Zachary Pierce Jackson; mother, Mae Thomlinson; three siblings, Andrea Anderson (Gary), Karoll Waddy (Chris), and Christopher Jackson (Nina), and many other beloved family members and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America.
