HERRING, Marion
Marion "Lee" Herring, 95, of Fayetteville, Georgia passed away peacefully at home on September 29, 2021. Lee was born in Abernant, Alabama to Marion Young and Mattie Lee Herring. Lee is survived by his wife, Dianne; sons, Jeff (Vickie) Herring, Phil (Terry) Herring, Carl Herring, and stepson, Chris (Katie) Poteat; grandchildren, Ryan, Scott, Rachel, Winston, Spencer, Ava and Graham. He was predeceased by his parents; first wife, Margaret; son, Greg; sister, Georgia Herring Crawford and; stepsisters, Gladys Pearson Cobb and Gertrude Herring Hayes; stepbrothers, Claude Pearson, Joe Pearson, Louie Pearson, and Ralph Pearson. The family request donations in his name be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Georgia.
