HALL (WHITFIELD), Sandra Annette
Sandra Annette Hall (Whitfield) of Flowery Branch, Georgia passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Northeast Georgia Braselton Hospital after having spent 273 days as a patient. She fought the good fight and never gave up wanting to stay with us here on this earth. She especially longed to be here for her son, Jason, to continue to give him the love and support she had always supplied through the years. Sandy was born June 21, 1958, along with her twin Candy, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was always petite with a bubbly personality and she loved life with all the wonder of it. In school she was a natural as a gymnast and excelled in competition. She was a very organized person which reflected in how particular she was about doing the job right on anything she tackled. She was a great cook, loved crafts and was always looking to take care of others. She loved music and a good movie. Sandy spent her career in the benefits/insurance industry working for Cigna and lastly ADP where she spent 23 years while living in the Stone Mountain/Snellville area. She loved her family especially her two grandchildren Kameron and Kallie whom she kept updated pictures of as her screensavers and backgrounds. She especially loved her other half, her twin, Candy. You couldn't say one's name without thinking of the other. Her days in the hospital included the care of sisters Brenda and Candy who catered to her whims out of love, making heavy days and nights a little lighter. For those who couldn't be with her Sandy treasured the calls, cards and visits as allowed. She also took a personal interest in every hospital employee who graced her room. She wanted to know more about them. That was Sandy's way throughout life even before she entered the hospital.
Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Jesse R. Whitfield, Sr., her siblings brother Joseph Whitfield and sister Brenda Sims, brother-in-law Theo Sims, niece Sherie James and nephew Tony Long.
Sandy is survived by son Jason Hall and grandchildren Kameron and Kallie Hall. She also leaves behind mother Evelyn Whitfield, sisters Candy Long (Rick), Darlene Williams (Art) brother Jesse R. Whitfield Jr. (Michelle) as well as nieces and nephews Ryan James, Suzanne McCrary, Rick Long Jr., Nikki Cantrell, Heather Sims, Cody Sims, Rachael Whitfield and Julia Whitfield.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2021 from 11:00 AM 2:00 PM, followed by the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home, then followed by the Graveside Service at Alta Vista Cemetery Gainesville, GA.
