Leonard Alfred Fair was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 31, 1924. He was the son of Horace E. and Marie Watts Fair and the younger brother of Royce D. Fair.
Leonard retired from Cox Enterprises, The Atlanta Journal/Constitution working with them for over 35 Years. He was a very active member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta, playing the piano and working with the In Touch Ministries.
Leonard met his Lord on Tuesday morning, October 5, 2021 at the age of 97 in Rome, Georgia. He was predeceased by his parents and brother and survived by a niece and cousins in Rome, Georgia.
A graveside service will be held at Westview Cemetery at 10:00 AM on October 9, 2021.
In lieu of flowers or any gifts, please make a donation to your own house of worship in Leonard's memory. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 8th from 5-7 PM at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033.
