Mrs. Vicky Lee Dale was born April 7, 1957 to the late Evon & Margie Newman. She passed away December 30, 2020 at Cobb Hospital in Austell, Georgia. Vicky was born in Nashville, Tennessee but has been a resident of Douglasville most of her life. Vicky is preceded in death by the love of her life, Jerry Dale; an infant son, Ricky Dale; parents, Evon & Margie Newman; brothers, Burt Newman, Richard Newman, and Steve Newman. Survivors include her three sons, Steve Dale, Chris Dale (wife Katharyn), & Greg Dale; sister, Sandy Stansel (husband Tommy); brother, Mike Newman (wife Ronda); a daughter-in-law, Chelita Weddington; fourteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 11:00am -12:00 noon at Legacy Funeral Home and Life Center, 8968 Fayetteville Road Jonesboro, Georgia 30238, graveside service to follow at Camp Memorial Park, 1095 Highway 54 West Fayetteville, Georgia.
