COLE, Jennifer

Jennifer Cole of Tucker died unexpectedly December 30,2020. She was born 1973 in Colchester, England. The daughter of Bill and Rhonda Boyd of Dacula, a graduate of Clarkston High School, Jennifer graduated with a degree in vocal performance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. At the time of her death, she was employed at Anthem Insurance in Atlanta in the Human Resources department. A trained singer, Jennifer had performed with the Bel Canto Company of Greensboro, NC, as well as with the "Our Song" The Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chorus. Those who met her quickly became her friends, for she didn't ever know a stranger. We remember her for her joy for life, her laughter, her voice, her courage in striving to better understand herself and others and create a fulfilling life for herself, her wisdom about life and people that was far beyond her years, and her righteous indignation when she saw someone being mistreated or oppressed. She loved a wide range of music; among her favorites were the Indigo Girls. She loved the arts and had a passion for others. She was a member of the Spiritual Living Centers in Atlanta, Georgia and Asheville, NC. In addition to her parents, Jennifer is survived by her brother, Peter Boyd of Atlanta, wife Ingrid Cole of Asheville, step-daughter JoAnna Johnson of Atlanta, son-in law Noah Johnson of Atlanta, her beloved dog, Doodle, and a huge circle of friends. She was adored by all who knew her.
