📷Joe Burson, a police officer in Holly Springs in Cherokee County, was killed late Wednesday in the line of duty while making a traffic stop. He was 24. Burson joined the Holly Springs Police Department in January 2020 and was formally sworn in more than two months later after completing his training, records show.
