BROWNE, Baron Leronn
Electric bassist Baron LeRonn Browne passed away on September 02, 2021 in Randolph, MA at the age of 61 following a long and courageous battle with glioblastoma. Born in Brunswick, GA, his family moved to Atlanta, GA where Baron graduated Westwood High School in 1978, going on to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. He went on to have an extensive music career; touring around the world and playing with some of the world's best artists. For the last 24 years, he played with Steve Smith and his band, Vital Information. Baron will leave to cherish his memories; his devoted and loving wife of 23 years, Gail McArthur-Browne; his dear father, Donald Browne (Carolyn) of GA; his loving mother Beverly Davis-Browne-Maddox (James) of GA. He was a devoted brother to Daun A. Browne-Brown (Landis) and Brandon Browne (Brittney) of GA. He was the cherished uncle of Baron A. Brown of GA/NYC. Baron also has 3 loving aunts, Doris Davis-Mercer (Charles) of GA, Jacquelyn Davis-Miles of VA, Joyce Browne-Beckley of GA. He will be sorely missed by his many cousins, other family members and friends who will cherish his memories and forever enjoy his music.
