Newly minted Augusta firefighter proposes after graduation ceremony

Newly graduated firefighter Marcus Thomas had a busy day Tuesday.
First, Thomas was part of a graduation ceremony from the Augusta Fire and EMS Department.
Then, on the spot, he proposed to his girlfriend, Olivia Golatt.
Thomas and Golatt have been dating for about three years, according to the department.
Thomas said he had been planning the moment for several months.
