A man climbed a mountain during a snowstorm in a tank top and shorts just to win a free pizza, according to authorities.
The 30-year-old man from Arizona said he was trying to reach the top of Mount Elden in Flagstaff, Arizona, "to qualify for a free pizza sponsored by a local business," The Arizona Republic reported.

But the hiker had to call for help around 9 a.m. Tuesday as the weather became worse.
“The weather at the time was moderate to heavy snow, with approximately 3 to 5 inches of snow on the ground,” the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
A U.S. Forest Service employee brought the man, who was suffering from hypothermia, inside the lookout tower to get warm before a search team showed up, the Republic reported.
It’s unclear if the man ended up receiving the free pizza.
