Yvonne Craig, who played Batgirl on the hit 1960s TV series "Batman," died Monday at age 78, according to Variety.

Craig had been fighting breast cancer for two years, CNN reported. The disease spread to her liver before she died at her Los Angeles home.

Craig also played Marta on "Star Trek" and starred in "It Happened at the World's Fair" and "Kissin' Cousins" with Elvis Presley.
