The boy who recently confronted online bullies in a viral YouTube video has scored an invitation to the White House.
Logan Fairbanks, 11, of Hartford, Michigan, made a heart-breaking two-minute YouTube video reading aloud "a stream of cruel comments" posted about him from viewers, ABC News reports.
Logan and his father, Josh Fairbanks, 30, posted videos for the past year on YouTube, showing the two playing pranks on one another. But after Logan noticed many mean comments posted by viewers, he decided to confront them.

In his YouTube video, Logan calmly read comments made about him such as "I hope that he dies," "He's such a stupid fatzo" and "Squeal, piggy, squeal," according to ABC News.
"I was very hesitant [to allow Logan to make the video]" Josh Fairbanks told ABC News. "I knew he had seen some comments, but I also knew that he hasn't seen anywhere near the worst of them."

The video has received nearly 5,000 comments and has been viewed more than 800,000 times. One of those viewers was Valerie Jarrett, a senior adviser to President Barack Obama.
"If you're ever in DC, pls stop by the @WhiteHouse and say hi. Logan may be a future occupant one day," Jarrett tweeted Saturday.
Logan and his father are visiting D.C. next week and plan to take Jarrett up on the offer.
"We are crazy excited," Josh Fairbanks said. "Out of all of the mentions ... that was probably the one that made our hearts skip a beat the most."
