The parents of a 17-year-old want answers after a routine dental procedure ended with the teenager’s death.

Attorneys told WFTV that Christopher Power was placed under “conscious sedation” to have his wisdom teeth removed. Power stopped breathing during the procedure.

Medical records show that Power was given medication multiple times to attempt to wake him up, and a defibrillator was also used. Power was taken to the hospital, where he was in a coma for two days before he died.
